Pre-Apprenticeship Program

The Apprenticeship Program is designed to allow Trainees to learn a skill while “on the job” training. The Training Program lasts four (4) weeks. All materials will be provided, and $500.00 will be provided once your training is completed. Trainees are paid while learning a skill in the following areas:
 

  • Electrical 

  • Plumbing 

  • Building Maintenance

  • Carpentry

  • HVAC

  • Information Technology (IT)

Training Modules

The training module will connect Holden Heights residents with iBuild Central Florida skills training for jobs in commercial and residential services such as: 
 

  • Concrete

  • Carpentry

  • Electrical 

  • Fire Protection Specialist 

  • Equipment Operator 

  • Drywall Framer

  • Title Setter

  • Painter 

  • Masonry

  • HVAC 

  • Roofer

  • Plumber

  • Theme Artist 

  • Welder

“I rather learn a skill and go to work now, and have money to take care of my family”

Who:

Individuals willing to work in the construction industry; no age required.

Where:

Holden Heights Community, the address will be provided.

The HHCDC in partnership with iBuild Central Florida is offering Skills Training and Apprenticeship opportunities to help individuals train for jobs in the construction industry and to learn while on-the-job training.
